Our Mission at El Abrigado Animal Clinic is to advocate for our patients.  Our staff is dedicated to providing the highest quality health care possible for your pets.  It is our charge to recommend the very best care for them and explain the recommendations to you, the client.  We will then consult with you regarding the best and most feasible methods for handling the case.

We appreciate the faith you have put in us.  While our work effort centers on the patient, if it were not for the client we would never see that patient.

Our emphasis is on wellness and the prevention of disease before a problem occurs.

We recommend wellness examinations twice yearly for pets.  Dogs and cats have a shorter life span than a human.  They age more quickly than a human as shown by this chart.

Because of this more rapid aging process we need to diagnose problems earlier if we are to treat them successfully.  Early intervention will improve the quality of your pets’ lives.  So, even if your pet seems to feel well and acts normally, there could be a developing problem.
